Duty Kit Picker is a gear-discovery and loadout builder site. We don’t run accounts and we don’t collect payment info.
What we collect
- We do not require logins and we do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or payment details.
- We store your loadout and a few preferences on your device using
localStorage so the site behaves like an app.
What we store in your browser (localStorage)
- Your cart/loadout (items + quantity)
- Your selected theme
- Sort/filter preferences
- A simple “popularity” counter (how often you click “Add to Kit”) on this device only
What we may receive automatically
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) depending on your hosting setup.
- If analytics are added later, those providers may collect data according to their policies.
Affiliate links
- When you click a “Buy” link, you’re sent to the vendor site (Amazon, Safariland, 5.11, etc.).
- Vendors may use cookies or tracking parameters to attribute purchases. That’s how affiliate programs work.
Third-party content
- Product data is loaded from a Google Sheet (CSV). Images and buy links point to third-party sites.
- We are not responsible for third-party sites or their privacy practices.
